‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Episode 155 Release Date Announced, Anime Series Resumes Airing From July 5

The wait is finally over for the fans as “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 155 will broadcast in July.

The latest schedule published in Weekly Shonen Magazine confirms that “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 155 will be airing Sunday (July 5).

Moreover, there are no delays expected in July.

• Episode 155 is slated to air Sunday (July 5)
• Episode 156 is scheduled to broadcast Sunday (July 12)
• Episode 157 will be airing Sunday (July 19)

Earlier, the official Twitter account of the anime – NarutotoBoruto teased that the makers will be coming out with an “important announcement.”

There were speculations that it can be related to a new movie release or a new arc announcement. However, it appears that the announcement is connected to "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" new episodes.

The anime series has been on a break after airing episode 154. The makers of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the series would remain on hiatus. After announcing the delay, the network has been airing re-runs.

“Thank you for supporting Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Due to the declaration of a State of Emergency for COVID-19 by the Japanese government, the production schedule for new episodes of the program has been impacted. As a result, we will change the broadcast/streaming schedule for newer episodes,” read the official statement.

Before going into hiatus, the preview trailer for episode 155 was released. In the upcoming episode, Mitsuki and his cat, Mikatsuki, meet a wounded man on a rainy night. Mitsuki decides to help him. Later, Team 7 is called for a joint mission with the local police.

“Yes, it was raining that night. Mikatsuki led me to him. And it was the first time we met. His name, where he came from if he is bad or not. All that didn’t matter in the beginning. Mikatsuki took a liking to him as well. But maybe we weren’t meant to meet, after all,” Mitsuki says in the trailer for episode 155.
