  • Bray Wyatt has not been seen around the pro-wrestling industry since his release
  • Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reveals it may be due to his asking price
  • The Undertaker hopes that Wyatt would consider returning to WWE soon

Since being released by WWE in the two-year span of budget cuts, Bray Wyatt is yet to make his pro-wrestling appearance anywhere and it very well could be because of how much he is asking for in return.

Famed industry insider Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer posted an update regarding WWE and AEW both being interested in bringing in each other’s top acts when another user asked about the status of Wyatt.

“His asking price is very high,” Meltzer bluntly responded.

Wyatt has long been a favorite in the industry as his artistic mind has produced classics like the Wyatt Family, his fearsome alter-ego the Fiend, and the Firefly Fun House.

However, WWE decided to include him in the casualties of its many budget cuts and it was only a matter of time before Wyatt was jumping ship to AEW and wreaking havoc across the roster.

Or so everyone thought.

It will almost be a year until Wyatt has made an appearance on any promotion after being released on July 31 of last year.

His father and WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda--better known for his “IRS” gimmick--recently went on record to talk about the future of Wyatt and his real-life brother Bo Dallas on the “Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw” podcast.

“They’re definitely not maybe done. I don’t know. They’re kind of got their foot in and going with a couple of different things, trying to see what’s available. So, you know, maybe you’ll see them back. Maybe you won’t. I don’t know yet, but I don’t want to speak for them either because I know they’re trying to reach out and get some different things going,” he said.

Not only are pro-wrestling fans eager to see Wyatt back in the ring, but also WWE legend and recently-enshrined Hall of Famer The Undertaker.

Wyatt has kept to himself mostly in recent months and though there is no clear indication of what he does next, the industry will be watching and waiting for his return.
