Brie Larson’s Rep Confirms Secret Engagement To Boyfriend Alex Greenwald; When Did He Pop The Question?

Brie Larson has some big news to share with fans! She and longtime boyfriend Alex Greenwald are getting married.

According to People magazine, a rep for the “Room” star confirmed the news on Monday. Although Larson, 26, and her beau are only just going public about their engagement, they pair have been set to wed for some time now. E! News reports Greenwald, 36, popped the question in March. At the time the couple was on vacation in Tokyo.

She and Greenwald have been together for several years. The pair have kept a majority of their relationship private, though Larson has given her supportive partner several shoutouts throughout the years. During the Oscars she proclaimed her love for him during her acceptance speech. She also told fans at the Screen Actors Guild Awards that he was “the other half of the equation.” She also called him her “best friend.”

This year has been a big one for Larson. Aside from her engagement the actress has had many major milestones, like winning an Oscar for best actress for her role in "Room." She also hosted“Saturday Night Live” on May 7 where she was joined on the show by musical guest Alicia Keys.

It remains unclear when Larson and Greenwald plan to tie the knot. Neither have spoken out about their engagement on social media or otherwise.
