Britney Spears Blames Mom Lynne For Her Conservatorship: 'You Know Exactly What You Did'
Britney Spears is not using cryptic messages anymore to express herself. The singer has revealed that she blamed her mother Lynne Spears for her conservatorship in a now-deleted Instagram post.
On Tuesday the “Criminal” singer shared a post on Instagram where she straight-up claimed that it was her mother who planted the idea of conservatorship in her father’s head.
Britney shared a photo with a text that read, “The most dangerous animal in the world is a silent smiling woman.”
In her caption, she started with addressing her mom directly that read “The moment I SMILE and I realize I haven’t in a very long time !!!! My mom gets so CONCERNED and says ‘You’re acting weird … what’s wrong with you ???’ I say ‘Hi, my name is Britney Spears … nice to finally meet you !!!’”
She went on to reveal that conservatorship was actually her mom’s idea saying, “my dad [Jamie] may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea.”
“I will never get those years back,” the 39-year-old star continued. “She secretly ruined my life … and yes I will call her and Lou Taylor out on it … so take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f**k yourself!!!!” she added.
She somewhat defended her father who has always been portrayed as the orchestrator of her conservatorship. Addressing her mother, Britney wrote, “You know exactly what you did … my dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship.”
She ended her long caption on a positive note writing, “But tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me.”
Over the past few weeks, Britney has become more outspoken since her father’s removal from the conservatorship. She previously slammed her sister Jamie Lynn for doing nothing to help her over the years. Last week she took to Instagram to say that her family has “hurt her deeper” than fans will ever know and also suggested that they’d be in more trouble if she ever agreed on a tell-all interview.
The “...Baby One More Time” singer first entered the conservatorship in 2008. After 13 years of struggle, Jamie was officially suspended from Britney’s conservatorship on Sept. 29 after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny decided their arrangement had created a “toxic environment.”
