BTS finally dropped the music video of its newest single "Permission to Dance" Friday, showcasing its acclaimed dance moves and impeccable choreography.

The new tune is brought to life in the music video that shows vibrant, picturesque desert scenes and small American Southwest towns. The summer and colorful vibe of the music video adds more brilliance to the song, which is about listening to your heart and following your wildest dreams.

"I wanna dance/ The music's got me going/ Ain't nothing that can stop how we move," BTS sings in the track's chorus. "Let's break our plans/ And live just like we’re golden/ And roll in like we're dancing fools."

"Permission to Dance" was released as part of the CD single for the group's Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Butter," which is at the top of the music chart in the sixth week. The CD single, which features "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and the instrumental versions of these two tracks, was also released Friday.

"Butter" and its music video saw an early release this year, breaking YouTube streaming records immediately. It got more than 3.9 million concurrent viewers and more than 108 million views on its first day. The track also dominated Spotify, surpassing 100 million streams on the platform just eight days after its official release.

BTS is set to bring the debut TV performance of "Permission to Dance" to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," during the group's special two-night musical takeover from July 13-14. The track was co-written by English singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran and Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid, as well as Steve Mac and Jenna Andrews.

In an interview in May, BTS told Entertainment Tonight how they always sought to stay humble amid their success and use their clout to speak up about important issues.

"We are seeing, I am seeing, more and more people take that interest in these issues," BTS member Jin told the outlet. "A lot of people are stepping up and trying to assist and spread awareness. So, we will work as hard as we can to have our voice heard as well and be a part of this."
