Is Caitlyn Jenner Dating Sophia Hutchins? The Truth About Their ‘Close’ Relationship

It’s no secret that Caitlyn Jenner has been spending a lot of time with Sophia Hutchins, but that doesn’t mean the two are dating. In a new interview, the “I Am Cait” star addressed her close relationship with the college student.

Jenner has been spotted out on numerous occasions with the 21-year-old, who is also the executive director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. Although the two initially kept mum about the nature of their romance, “The Secrets of My Life” author briefly discussed the media attention their friendship has received.

When asked about the rumored romance, Jenner wasn’t thrilled about discussing the topic. “We are not going to get into that,” she told Variety.

“But we are very close. We do a lot of things together. We’re kind of inseparable. We’re the best of friends,” she added.

Jenner’s comments about her relationship with Hutchins come after a report alleging that the two were getting married and were ready to start a family together. Although Jenner’s rep revealed the article was false, it hasn’t stopped the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum from being romantically linked to the Pepperdine University student.

Rather than paying attention to tabloids, Jenner told Variety she is more interested in what’s going on in Washington. “I don’t do a lot of media. I don’t want to be seen everywhere. Today, I’m very politically involved. Nobody really knows it. I do it very quietly because I have been so criticized by the liberal side of the media,” the former athlete explained.

“I can get more things done if I don’t stick my nose into everything publicly. I like going to Washington, D.C., doing what I do, but doing it quietly,” she continued.

Hutchins echoed Jenner’s words and insisted her friend genuinely wanted to make a change for the better. “Coming from a reality show, where every detail of your life is documented, to not seeking any press is kind of a big change. Caitlyn is not working on these issues for press attention,” she told the publication.

In the past, Jenner has dedicated her time to bringing attention to the issues plaguing the transgender community.
