- A new leak reveals the unreleased Campaign footage of "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War"
Activision released a lot of official information about “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” in the past days through the release of the Alpha version, the announcement of the campaign footage and the Zombies reveal; but an alleged leaked unreleased footage of the game’s campaign may have revealed more unannounced official details.
The alleged unannounced campaign cutscene of “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” was shared by “Call of Duty” insider BKTOOR. For the most part of the leak, several characters are shown along with a ship. The footage also provides the tone as it reveals the music for the upcoming campaign.
The insider later shared an image of an alleged folder containing several other footages. While it does not offer any information on the new weapons or vehicles that would be featured in “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,” the folders contain location names. There are several references to Germany, Vietnam, Russia and Nicaragua.
All of these places had a "cp" tag presumably indicating that they are part of the game’s campaign. Aside from those, multiplayer files are also present along with multiple maps. This includes Tundra, Cartel, Satellite, Moscow and Miami. Interestingly, a couple of file at the bottom contains the names Forest and DOA.
Both of these names feature ‘WZ’ in the title, which could mean these are from the “Call of Duty: Warzone” game mode. It was previously reported that “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” would share some features of “COD: Warzone.” These files could be an indication that they are game modes releasing when “Cold War” launches.
DOA could mean Dead On Arrival, which could be a game mode while Forest could be a new map’s section, or probably a new map. It is worth mentioning that these details, while they seem exciting are unofficial and unconfirmed. As to this, take this with a pinch of salt.
“Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” releases on November 13. The game’s beta begins on October 13. The upcoming title release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
