Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered have just begun a double XP weekend that ends next Tuesday. A tweet from the official Call Of Duty account contains the dates, times and details all players should know.

For those who can’t see the embedded tweet above, it reads “enjoy double XP in both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered this weekend, starting tomorrow through Tuesday.” The event began at 1.pm. EST and will end on Tuesday at 1 p.m. EST.

As it was for previous events, this XP boost applies not only to players but also individual weapon XP as well. That means soldiers can get the gear and prestige of leveling up, and individual guns can be quickly augmented too. Especially if you’re tired of the major multiplayer grind of Infinite Warfare, this is a way to at least offer a chance at progression toward some top-tier equipment and weapon tokens.

In terms of how to make the most of the festivities in both games, players of either Modern Warfare Remastered or Infinite Warfare should focus the lion’s share of their attention on high-yield game modes like Kill Confirmed and Search And Destroy. With countless avenues to farm, you can rank up pretty quickly. Especially if you mix those strategies with solid play, you might be able to boost your Salvage count as well.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered have had double XP events since both games launched in November, so, even if you’re too busy to enjoy this one, there will likely be others in the future.
