Camila Cabello Rocks Trendy New Hair Cut And Fans Are Loving It [Photos]
Camila Cabello sure knows how to take the plunge. The 24-year-old singer showed off a trendy new haircut on Instagram on Thursday.
While the singer is better known for her long face-framing bangs, it does not stop her from spicing things up a little. No wonder Shawn Mendes loves to call her his "Senorita."
In a series of pictures, Cabello showed off a set of choppy full bangs. She captioned them "psychofreak"
Adding some edge to the look was her neon eyeliner, which perfectly complimented her hair cut and all-black ensemble consisting of a long-sleeved, off-shoulder crop top and matching black trousers with peep-toe heels.
The photos have gone viral, receiving more than 1 million likes on Instagram. Many fans praised the singer for her "beautiful" look.
"And I am on my knees and I am beginning cause I don't wanna lose you," one user wrote.
The singer is all set to debut as an actress with Amazon Prime's "Cinderella." The new look was for her promotional appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday night.
The "Crying in the Club" singer has been extremely confident in herself and the latest hairstyle is proof of that.
Last month, she took aim at body shamers by sharing a TikTok video celebrating her curves.
"I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy," Cabello said in the clip. "And I am wearing a top that shows my belly, and I wasn't tucking it in. Because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn't tuck it in all the time," Cabello continued, "and I was like, 'Damn.' But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season."
"I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do," she concluded. "We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby."
The "Liar" singer earlier this month said it was "liberating" to talk about her body.
"I think that social media can be a good thing," she told "U.K. Morning Show" host Ross King. "For me, like posting about that video that I posted about my body and being like, 'I have cellulite and stretch marks and gain weight sometimes and that's normal' — having messages like that feels really liberating."
Cabello's confidence also had a "life-changing" impact on her boyfriend too.
“[She's] So strong, so clear and confident with her [body] and so articulate and empathetic about other people's," Mendes said last year. "It really changed my view of mine. It really changed my life.” He realized that “taking that extra few hours of sleep, instead of waking up to pump iron, is a better choice sometimes."
