‘Captain America’ Star Chris Evans Says He’s Never Had A Bad Breakup, Will Hug An Ex

Chris Evans has no bad blood with any of his exes.

The “Captain America” star recently revealed that he remains on good terms with all the women he used to go out with. “It’s very rare,” Evans, 35, told Elle about good breakups. “But I’ve had no bad breakups in my life. Typically, if I see an ex, I give a big hug, and it’s wonderful to catch up.”

Evans explained that he already considers himself lucky to find someone with whom he shares mutual affection. It’s rare to find someone who truly knows you, so if the relationship ends in heartbreak, it is still important to value the connection.

One of the exes Evans was referring to could be his ex and “Gifted” co-star, Jenny Slate. The two were in a relationship for less than a year, but they called it quits even before their film hit the big screen. However, the exes are still on good terms even today.

In fact, in a recent interview with People, Evans said that Slate is his favorite person. The “Avengers” star had nothing but kind words to say about the “Zootopia” star. He shared that she impressed him with her mastery of the English language and her compassion for others. “She’s my favorite human,” Evans said of Slate. “She’s so vulnerable, so honest, so interested in other people more than herself, she’s incredibly compassionate, there’s just nothing to not love about her.”

Slate has the same sentiments toward Evans. She revealed that she finds the “Snowpiercer” star unpretentious. For her, Evans is a grownup man who still wants to play games. The actor reportedly organized game nights for the cast and crew of “Gifted” when they were filming. However, aside from this, the “Obvious Child” star noted that what she loves most about him is that he is so kind.

“He’s really vulnerable, and he’s really straightforward. He’s like primary colors. He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he’s really sure of them,” Slate told Vulture of Evans. “It’s just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it.”
