'Celebrity Big Brother' Adding Caitlyn Jenner To Cast? Truth About Rumor
"Celebrity Big Brother" Season 2 is not adding Caitlyn Jenner to its cast, despite what a new report may be claiming.
Gossip Cop recently debunked a report by Radar Online that claimed Jenner has joined the cast of "Celebrity Big Brother" Season 2. The tabloid apparently got its information from a Twitter user, who posted what she claimed was the complete list of cast members of the CBS reality show. The former Olympic gold medalist and "I Am Cait" star was among the names mentioned.
However, Gossip Cop has confirmed from Jenner's spokesperson that there is no truth to the rumor that she will be appearing on this season of "Celebrity Big Brother." The Hollywood Reporter also recently revealed the real cast list of "Celebrity Big Brother" Season 2, and Jenner was not among the stars to appear on the show.
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time that false stories about Jenner appearing on shows have surfaced. Radar Online has been repeatedly claiming that Jenner will be joining the cast of "Dancing with the Stars," but she has not once appeared on the show. For the past two years, the same tabloid also insisted that Jenner will be starring in her own talk show.
In 2017, a British tabloid put out a story that Jenner was offered $1.3 million to join "Celebrity Big Brother," but this claim was also proven to be false by Gossip Cop.
Meanwhile, those who will actually be competing in this season of "Celebrity Big Brother include former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, Dina Lohan, Olympic athlete Ryan Lochte and Grammy nominee Tamar Braxton.
Joey Lawrence, "Mean Girls" star Jonathan Bennett, Olympic track athlete and bobsledder Lolo Jones and former NFL running back Ricky Williams will also be appearing on "Celebrity Big Brother" Season 2. Joining them are former WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, singer and reality star Kandi Burruss and Kato Kaelin.
"Celebrity Big Brother" Season 2 will see these celebrities face off against each other in various competitions and a social game battle in order to be hailed the winner and take home the $250,000 prize.
"Celebrity Big Brother," which will have 13 episodes, premieres on Jan. 21 on CBS.
