Chris Brown Disses Drake While At Hollywood Club After DJ Plays Rapper's Hit Song 'Started From The Bottom'
Chris Brown wants nothing to do with rapper Drake, and had choice words for the Toronto native while at a Hollywood club.
On Thursday night, the “Forever” singer was at Hollywood’s Emerson Theatre, when the DJ played Drake’s current hit, “Started From the Bottom.”
Brown wasn't pleased, and asked the DJ to stop the music, before shouting, according to clubgoers, “"The DJ can play this [expletive], but I want you all to know, [expletive] Drake!"
The artist then proceeded to give an impromptu performance, singing some of his own hit songs.
Their dislike for each other escalated in June, when they got into a brawl in a New York City nightclub.
Drake's entourage reportedly rebuffed Brown's gesture of a bottle of champagne at W.i.P. nightclub on June 14, the New York Times reported. Ice chips were thrown at Brown and then a bottle was reportedly thrown from his table into the crowd.
Four bottles were then thrown from Drake's table, one aimed straight for Brown. Brown's then-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, suffered a concussion, and Brown tweeted a picture of a cut on his chin following the altercation, reports said.
The fight allegedly was over Barbadian beauty Rihanna, who has been romantically linked to both men in the past.
This hasn't been a good week for Brown, after he reportedly kicked his bodyguard off his private plane.
The Bermuda Sun said Brown and his entourage stopped in the island for a pit stop to refuel. An altercation allegedly ensued between Brown and his bodyguard, Big Pat.
"The security guard came inside [an airport building] and said he wasn’t getting back on the plane," an airport worker told the tabloid, adding, the man told him he had gotten into an altercation with Brown.
"Chris went back through customs and the plane left at about 2:20 p.m.,” the airport worker said.
Big Pat ended up catching a later flight back to New York’s JFK airport.
