Chrishell Stause is getting candid about her new relationship shortly after her whirlwind romance with Australian singer G Flip made headlines.
The "Selling Sunset" star, 40, confirmed during the show's fifth season reunion special, which premiered on Netflix Friday, that she's dating the 27-year-old musician, who identifies as non-binary.
On Tuesday, Stause shared a new video on Instagram in which she addressed her new relationship and fans' reaction to it.
"I will never not have the absolute utmost respect for G," Stause told her followers, before adding, "Right now, I'm enjoying life. I'm really happy. You don't have to be worried about me guys."
The reality star has faced some questions from fans since confirming her romance with G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Claire Flipo.
Stause explained more about her relationship in her Instagram video to give some "context because at this point some of you are confused or worried or all of the things."
"For those that are open to learning (you're awesome), sex is anatomical and gender is how someone identifies. These two things are often confused," she captioned the video. "There are many more qualified people to speak on this but maybe I can be the bridge to those of you open to understanding."
In the video, Stause said that G Flip is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
"For [non-binary individuals], they really feel like they are a mix and they identify on both sides of male, female. So that's one of those things I personally find such a beautiful mix. I think it's probably why we did connect on such a deep level so quickly," she explained.
The real estate agent then shared that what attracted her to G Flip was their personality and heart.
"For me, I am attracted to masculine energy. And I don't really care what the physical form is," Strause said.
Stause previously dated her "Selling Sunset" co-star and Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim. They split in December 2021 after five months of dating, with Stause saying in a statement that their "ideas for family" were not aligned.
An unnamed source told People at the time that Stause "wants marriage and a family" but that Oppenheim wasn't ready to make the commitment.
In her Instagram video, Stause said that she and Oppenheim only "want each other to genuinely be happy."
Despite her split with her co-star, she said she hopes fans "see that I'm the same person that you've been following this whole time."
"I feel like Jason and I, we genuinely want the best for each other. No, he didn't have someone to speak about that he's dating, but that doesn't mean he's not living his best life, as he should," she added. "It doesn't diminish the fact that we have a real respect and love for each other."
Stause ended her video by asking fans who may be confused to "stick around and keep an open mind."
"If you don't, I understand that too. But I'm happy and I hope that you all are as well," she said.
Stause was previously married to Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021. Following her breakup from the "This Is Us" star, she was briefly linked to "Dancing With the Stars" alum Keo Motsepe before she dated Oppenheim.
