While most moms consider Jennifer Garner's "Yes Day" a bit too much to handle, Chrissy Teigen seems to think otherwise. On Tuesday, the doting mother shared a "Yes Day" post featuring her family celebrating her daughter Luna's birthday at an exotic location.
The family picture, shared by Teigen, had her husband John Legend and two children -- Luna Simone Stephens, 5, and Miles Theodore Stephens, 2 -- in a vacay mood. The model captioned the picture "yes day!"
The concept of "Yes Day" was introduced on Netflix's comedy-drama that goes by the same name, "Yes Day," which was released on March 12, 2021.
In the movie, the mother portrayed by Garner feels that she says "No" quite often to her kids, and for a change, she will give them a "Yes Day," which will allow kids to make rules for 24 hours and parents can't say, no.
Teigen and Legend, who have been enjoying a vacation in an undisclosed location from April 10 onwards, seem to have been following the concept throughout their holidays. Teigen first spoke about their family vacation to her followers by sharing a picture of herself with Luna on a plane.
Over the weekend, the 35-year-old model posted a series of pictures of Miles and herself relaxing at the beach while enjoying the sunset. Legend also took to Instagram on Tuesday to dedicate a post for Luna’s birthday. "Our baby is 5 now," he captioned it, along with emotional and heart emojis.
He also posted four pictures of Luna at the age of 4, 3, 2 and 1.
Teigen also shared father-daughter duo pictures and wrote, "the four most perfect photos."
Last month, Teigen told People that she doesn't wish to be pregnant again.
"Coming to terms with not being able to carry again is still really difficult for me because I feel so healthy. I'm like, why?" she said. "But then I think about it as my uterus is just not cooperating with me — and it's not a failure."
"I'm so lucky for that," she explained. "I just think of it in terms of how blessed I am already, and also there are so many ways to have a child nowadays ... whether it's surrogacy or adoption."
