‘Christmas Unwrapped’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis

The Lifetime Christmas Movies continue with the premiere of “Christmas Unwrapped,” starring Amber Stevens West and Marco Grazzini, on Saturday night.

While Stevens West and Grazzini are both making their Lifetime debuts with this film, they may still be recognizable to fans who have seen them in other projects. Grazzini starred as Alejandro on “Kim’s Convenience,” and is possibly someone Hallmarkies would actually know, as he held roles in both the Hallmark Channel’s “A Taste of Summer” and “A Valentine’s Match.”

Meanwhile, Stevens West could be recognized for her roles on the big-screen—which included acting as Maya in “22 Jump Street”--or TV roles. While she starred as Claire on “Happy Together,” Annie on “Ghosted” and Maxine on “The Carmichael Show,” she is likely best known for her role as Ashleigh Howard on the former ABC Family series “Greek.”

So what will happen when these two newbies team up for their first-ever Lifetime project—and Christmas movie? According to a synopsis, romance, intrigue and plenty of Christmas spirit.

“Charity (Stevens West), an ambitious yet pragmatic reporter, learns the true meaning of Christmas when she investigates Erik Gallagher (Grazzini), a millionaire and beloved member of the town who insists that all the gifts that arrive on Christmas Day every year are from none other than Santa himself,” the synopsis reads.

But as Charity work to uncover the mystery and why Erik does the things he does, will she also find an unexpected Christmas romance under her tree?

Cheryl Ladd (“Grounded For Christmas,” “The Christmas Contract”) also stars.

“Christmas Unwrapped” airs Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
