‘The Christmas Yule Blog’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime 2020” programming is set to continue with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “The Christmas Yule Blog.” The movie, starring Sara Canning and Zak Santiago, premieres Friday.
The movie will be especially exciting for Lifetime fans, as they will be getting a treat when it comes to the stars of this film, both of whom are relative newbies. While Canning did star in 2019’s “The Christmas Temp” for Lifetime, Santiago is best known for his role as Ramon Rodriguez in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Signed Sealed Delivered” series of movies, including “From Paris With Love,” “One In A Million,” “Home Again” and “To The Altar.”
Meanwhile, those who didn’t catch Canning in last year’s film may have seen her in “War For the Planet of the Apes,” or may recognize her for her roles in TV shows like “Remedy,” “A Series of Unfortunate Events” and “Vampire Diaries.”
So what will happen when these two Lifetime newbies work together? According to a synopsis, a little newly-discovered Christmas spirit will go a long way.
“Caroline Williams (Canning), a well-known social media travel writer, is given the assignment to cover a hundred-year-old Christmas parade in the small town of Carte De Amor, New Mexico,” the synopsis reads. “Not excited about the assignment, Caroline goes anyway and meets a high school music teacher, Oscar Ortiz (Santago), who introduces her to a side of Christmas that she has never seen, with different traditions and meaning.”
As she learns more about the traditions that make the parade special, Caroline will also begin experiencing something else as well that she didn’t expect—some Christmas love.
“In the twelve days before Christmas, Caroline falls in love with Christmas all over again and finds true love for herself,” the synopsis says.
“The Christmas Yule Blog” premieres Friday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
