Ciara-Russell Wilson Update: T.I. Slams ‘I Bet’ Singer After Boyfriend Is Pictured With Her Son Future
Rapper Future and his ex-girlfriend, “I Bet” singer Ciara, made it clear they’re not on the best terms, but the rapper became irate when he saw her new boyfriend, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, pushing their son in a stroller. Ciara ignored his protests to keep their son, also named Future, away from her new man and brought the child to Wilson’s practice Sunday.
The toddler wore a replica of the athlete’s jersey and shutterbugs snapped away, capturing photos of Future hugging Wilson. The images were quickly uploaded to Twitter. The images not only upset Future senior, but fellow rapper T.I., too.
The Atlanta rap star, whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. said, “I’d go the F--- off bro. S--- outta line to me…but that’s just me.” He wrote the post under an Instagram account, which proposed a question about Wilson hugging Future. The account asked its followers if they thought it was right for Ciara to bring her son around her new boyfriend, according to Hollywood Life .

Naturally, Future, whose real name is Nayvadius Cash, agreed with T.I. He responded to the picture with a series of expletive-filled tweets. “Never make a permanent decision over a temporary circumstance. #umtoobossedup. Don’t direct my tweets to no punk a-- hoe… Dis internet s--- mad funny Yo!” he said.
There was someone who was on Ciara’s side, though. Model Amber Rose, who shares son Sebastian with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, tweeted her support for the songbird and said she was “so happy.”
It’s not the first time Ciara, 29, and Wilson, 26, have been criticized. They have been vocal about their choice to remain celibate while unmarried. And it’s a choice that has not been easy. "You go one day at a time and keep [the romance] going with each other," she told Us Weekly Thursday. "It's alright."
Wilson said God helped him make the decision. “For me, I knew that God had brought me in her life to bless her and for her to bless me," he said at the Rock Church on July 5, according to Us Weekly. "We're not going to be perfect, by any means. But He's anointed both of us and He's calling for us to do something special."
But he probably isn’t worried about naysayers. The 2013 Super Bowl champion just signed a major $87.6 million, four-year extension contract with the Seahawks. Like Ciara said in “I Bet,” Future, “I upgraded you.”
