"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3 surely have a lot of exciting things to offer its fans. Earlier, the developers revealed a plethora of content coming to the games in a few days. Aside from the usual new maps and weapons, players could look forward to the major Verdansk event and the arrival of the fan-favorite "Call of Duty" Operator Price.

On April 19, Raven Software and Treyarch rolled out a preview showcasing the massive changes coming in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3, such as the return of Price, six new weapons, new maps and the mysterious event in Verdansk. For "Call of Duty: Warzone," Season 3 will start with the major event that has something to do with the Zombies at Verdansk.

The post, which is cryptic and lacks specifics, only reminds players to be online at 3 p.m. EDT on April 21. Fans believe that it could be the rumored Nuke event, which could result in a new Verdansk map in Season 3. "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War," on the other hand, will get several new multiplayer maps.

During Season 3's launch week, players could access a new 6v6 map Yamantau map, which is set in a Soviet observatory. Players could also enjoy Diesel, a small 6v6 map set in America. In the latter part of the season, devs would launch the Duga map, which is set in the Ural mountains and the Standoff, a classic "Black Ops 2" map.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3 will also introduce new weapons, including the PPSH-41 sub-machine gun. It is one of the fan-favorite weapons in the "Call of Duty" series because of its fast-firing ability. Another new weapon coming to both games is the Swiss K31 sniper rifle. The ballistic knife and a spring-action knife will also be available in the upcoming season.

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" Season 3 update will be available at 9 p.m. PT on April 20. Meanwhile, the "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3 update can be downloaded starting at 9 p.m. PT on April 21.
