College Admissions Scandal Update: Lori Loughlin's Daughter Sends New Message To Hallmark Star
Over the past year, many people have shared their opinions on Lori Loughlin after she was publicly tied to the national college admissions scam, including a former co-star. Now, her daughter, Olivia Jade, has also revealed her thoughts about the "Fuller House" actress as she moves towards her October trial.
In 2019, Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid William "Rick" Singer $500,000 so that their daughters, Olivia and Isabella Rose, could attend the University of Southern California (USC). After the allegations, they were each charged with mail and wire fraud, honest services mail and wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery.
While Olivia has remained relatively quiet on the topic of the scam in recent months, on Sunday, the popular YouTuber shared a photo of her and the Hallmark star in honor of Mother's Day. The post, which highlighted a picture of Olivia as a child and the "When Calls the Heart" actress, was accompanied by a caption that showcased the close relationship the two share.
"happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there. Thank you God for mine____!!!! You are my best friend and have held my hand every day for 20 years making it look like motherhood is an easy job. You are one of a kind. I love you so so so much & cannot wait to give you all the love in the world today & forever," she wrote, adding, "Thank you for being you. You are the most special person to me . I am so blessed to be your daughter and so proud to call you mom. ❤️ I LOVE YOU." Her full post can be seen below.
Aside from the Instagram post, Olivia has also been active on social media in a variety of other ways. Not only did she recently appear with an unexpected guest on TikTok, but she also indicated that she had made a new choice prior to Loughlin's upcoming court dates. Additionally, she has made other "efforts" and carefree decisions throughout 2020.
As for Loughlin herself, recent reports have indicated that her "formidable" defense believes the actress could benefit from an unexpected witness at her trial. It has also been stated that her "ultimate sentence" could mimic a recent ruling in the admissions scam.
