The 2022-2023 College Football bowl schedule is already underway, but the biggest games don't start until well after Christmas. The New Year's Six Bowls, including the two College Football Playoff Semifinal games, all feature betting lines of less than eight points. TCU, Ohio State and Tennessee are the biggest underdogs in the most important bowls.

Here are picks against the spread and the latest betting odds for the New Year's Six bowl games. Point spreads come from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Orange Bowl: No. 6 Tennessee (+6.5) vs. No. 7 Clemson

Even before Hendon Hooker was lost for the season with a torn ACL, Tennessee lost two out of three games. Clemson has the nation's No. 10 ranked rushing defense, and only 13 teams in the FBS have surrendered fewer yards per carry than the Tigers. New Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik went 20-of-24 for 279 yards in the ACC Championship Game.

Prediction ATS: Clemson

Fiesta Bowl (CFP semifinal): No. 2 Michigan (-7.5) vs. No. 3 TCU

TCU might be the right pick with the point spread north of a touchdown. The Horned Frogs haven't lost a single game in regulation this season. They were an overtime loss in the Big 12 Championship Game away from going undefeated. Michigan was disappointing in the CFP semifinal last year when facing an opponent with a better quarterback.

Prediction ATS: TCU

Peach Bowl (CFP semifinal): No. 1 Georgia (-6.5) vs. No. 4 Ohio State

The defending champs have barely been challenged all year. Since surviving a scare against Missouri on Oct. 1, Georgia has won eight straight games by double digits. Ohio State's 22-point loss against Michigan wasn't very encouraging for its hopes in the playoffs.

Prediction ATS: Georgia

Sugar Bowl: No. 5 Alabama (-3.5) vs. No. 9 Kansas State

Alabama's two losses came on the road by a combined four points against a pair of top-17 teams. The Crimson Tide might be in the playoffs if they played in the Big 2 with Kansas State and TCU. Look for Bryce Young to end his college football career on a high note.

Prediction ATS: Alabama

Cotton Bowl: No. 10 USC (-2.5) vs. No. 16 Tulane

The uncertainty regarding Caleb Williams and his injured hamstring could have Tulane primed to pull off the upset. The Heisman Trophy winner struggled with the injury as USC was embarrassed in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Trojans are giving up an average of 39.7 points in the last three games.

Prediction ATS: Tulane

Rose Bowl: No. 8 Utah (-2.5) vs. No. 11 Penn State

The leading receiver for both teams will miss the Pro Bowl. The loss of Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. might be the biggest absence. Utah has scored more than 41 points in four of the last five games.

Prediction ATS: Utah
