Courtney Stodden New Look Fuels Plastic Surgery Rumors, Mom Denies [PHOTOS]

Courtney Stodden, the famous teen bride of 52-year-old “Lost” star Doug Hutchison, recently turned 18, and new photos of the blonde have many speculating that she gave herself the gift of plastic surgery. Known for her dark tan, blonde hair and heavy makeup, the VH1 “Couples Therapy” star stepped out looking ... much different.

Stodden and Hutchison were spotted out at the Grove in Los Angeles this week, and the 18-year-old had heads turning. Once deeply tan with dark roots and decked out in smokey eyeshadow, lip pencil and over the top attire, Stodden was spotted looking the complete opposite. With her hair lightened, Stodden’s skin was also noticeably lighter, along with her usage of makeup. Without a doubt, the young bride definitely looked more natural and more her age...yet had many speculating that she had work done.

Before rumors could get out of hand, Krista Keller, Stodden’s “momager” spoke to E! News, quickly putting the plastic surgery reports to rest.

“It’s ridiculous!” she exclaimed. “She’s doing her makeup differently -- that’s all it is!”

Comparing Stodden’s Twitter to her mom’s remarks, it appears that Keller may be right. “Courtney decided she wanted to change her makeup,” Keller continued. “She went for a lighter more natural look, old Hollywood kind of look.”

Stodden has been posting pictures of herself with new look for the past couple days. “Feelin’ a bit retro ;)” she wrote with one picture of herself in a red tank top dress with matching nails and lips. In another photo posing for the camera, the blonde wrote, “Think I’ll stick with this old Hollywood makeup look ... muah ;) xo.”

So how did Courtney Stodden get her new look that has everyone talking? According to Keller, “all she did was lighten her hair, used a lighter shade of makeup and tanner, and not use as much eyeliner.” Talking about her daughter’s “old” look, Keller revealed that the 18-year-old told her she wants “to do it differently.” The momager was shocked when all of a sudden a little less makeup turned into a lot of plastic surgery.

Fans of the young blonde won’t be saying goodbye to the old tan and smokey shadow version of her just yet. Stodden changed her appearance after filming VH1’s “Couples Therapy” with Hutchison. The show, set to premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 10 p.m., shows Stodden and Hutchison, along with other celebs, who all need rehab for their relationships.
