'Cruel’ Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner Leave Caitlyn Jenner ‘Hurt, Lonely’ Amid Backlash
The Kardashian-Jenner family has been casting Caitlyn Jenner aside since the backlash that followed her winning Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year award last November, Radar Online reported Sunday, citing a source. At the time of the award, many social media users expressed how they thought that Jenner — formerly known as Bruce — did not deserve the award simply for being transgender.
The report by Radar Online said Jenner’s family is not as supportive of her as she thought they would be. “It’s just so obvious,” an insider said, according to Radar Online, adding: “When she relaunched herself they were all over her like barnacles on the bottom of a boat, but the moment there’s a backlash, they’re nowhere to be found.”
The source also said that although Jenner gets support from her two children — Kylie and Kendall — they “barely see their dad.” The source added: “The only time they do is if it’s in their interest.”
The source went on to say, according to Radar Online, that Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner were the reason family members have rejected the Olympic winner. “This is all Kim and Kris’s doing,” the source said, adding: “If there hadn’t been a backlash, they’d still be all over Caitlyn. It’s so cruel and Caitlyn’s feeling very hurt, lonely and rejected right now.”
A February report said Caitlyn started transitioning during 1980s as she started taking hormones during her 30s. Caitlyn said in a small video clip that she had started seeing changes to her body before she stopped the process. She also revealed that she met Kris after she stopped the transition process but was “very honest” with her about her inner struggles.
