Crypto On Aug. 9: Bitcoin, Ether Turn Bullish As Trading Volume Soars

The crypto market turned green Tuesday with the majority of cryptocurrencies turning bullish. Leading cryptocurrencies Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) showed promising growth as they retained $23,000 and $1,700 price levels, respectively.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the world's biggest cryptocurrency BTC was outperformed by ETH, the world's second-biggest cryptocurrency. These tokens saw a price surge of 2.28% and 3.96% in the last 24 hours, respectively. As of 1:25 a.m. ET, the price of 1 BTC was $23,850 while the price of 1 ETH was $1,778.
The market dominance of BTC rose to 40.46% while that of ETH rose to 19.21% as a result of an 81.01% and 82.99% rise in trading volumes of the tokens, respectively.
The top 10 currencies were also green as of 1:26 a.m. ET with Ripple (XRP) up by 0.79% to $0.3775; Cardano (ADA) up by 0.75% to $0.5365; Solana (SOL) up by 1.27% to $42.63; and Polkadot (DOT) up by 5.12% to $9.24.
The biggest gainers in the market as of 1:27 a.m. ET were Near Protocol (NEAR) which rose 6.34% to $5.50; Cosmos (ATOM) which rose 5.82% to $12.20; Zcash (ZEC) which rose 12.49% to $79.90; and The Graph (GRT) which rose 10.49% to $0.1491.
The worst performers as of 1:28 a.m. ET included Chiliz (CHZ) which was down 1.04% to $0.1504; Lido Dao (LIDO) which was down 5.61% to $2.35; Stacks (STX) which was down 1.33% to $0.4995; and Loopring (LRC) which was down by 2.21% to $0.4784.
Other notable performers as of 2:05 a.m. ET included Stepn (GMT) which was up 10.25% to $1.05; DigiByte (DGB) which was up 12.59% to $0.01414; Ren (REN) which was up 23.53% to $0.1946; and Celsius (CEL) which was up 32.32% to $2.02.
