Is CT Still Married? 'Challenge' Star Reveals Separation In 'Double Agents'

Single or taken? Chris “CT” Tamburello will provide an update on his personal life in the season premiere of “The Challenge: Double Agents.” In a teaser for the episode, which airs Wednesday on MTV, the reality-TV star reveals that he and his wife are separated during the filming of the show.

“The last few seasons I wasn’t in the best place mentally. Marriage was not going well. We're separated,” Tamburello says in the teaser. “I feel like I've been running from problems for a long time, and I feel like they finally caught up with me. And I couldn't lie to myself anymore.”

Tamburello had a short stint on the last season of “The Challenge” when he was eliminated in the third episode of “Total Madness.” In the previous season, he was one of the four “War of the Worlds 2” winners.

“Now, I'm coming in, focused on myself, focused on work, focused on my son, focused on getting my head right, get back in shape. Taking my life back,” Tamburello adds in the clip.

Tamburello married Lili Solares in September 2018, and the couple has a 4-year-old son. Their wedding was featured in an MTV special.

“Double Agents” started being filmed in August, though it appears things have changed for the couple over the last few months. Us Weekly reports that Tamburello and Solares are still married and living together.

On Nov. 21, Tamburello posted a photo of his wife to Instagram with the caption, “Six years later...still thinks I’m funny.”

Tamburello is one of the greatest competitors in “Challenge” history. He’s won three championships, and only Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio has competed in more seasons to date.

“The Challenge: Double Agents” airs Wednesday on MTV at 8 p.m. EST.
