  • "Cyberpunk 2077" is set to arrive on November 19, 2020
  • The new release date is already final following a series of delayed release
  • CDPR recently confirmed one major revolutionary feature of "Cyberpunk 2077" that fans could look forward to

CD Projekt Red recently revealed another ground-breaking feature of the much-awaited game “Cyberpunk 2077.” The upcoming title is set to arrive in the later part of 2020 and would release on both current generation and next-generation gaming consoles. The gaming studio said that it intends that the game would be as impressive as “The Witcher 3.”

“Cyberpunk 2077” Major Feature

CD Projekt Red’s upcoming game “Cyberpunk 2077” is shaping not only as a good-looking title in terms of graphics but also because of its complex systems and features. Earlier, the gaming studio confirmed that the forthcoming title could be finished even without completing the main quest. Not many games could do this, particularly with narrative as ambitious and complex as “Cyberpunk 2077.”

According to CD Projekt Red, “Cyberpunk 2077” has different sub-plots so interconnected that players could reach the conclusion of the game without completing the main quest that these sub-plots branched out from. Unlike in “The Witcher 3” where the path is very linear, “Cyberpunk 2077” has seemingly evolved not only to be a complicated title but a more immersive and responsive to player agency. CD Projekt Red described the game’s sub-plots as the element that enables the studio to do something that it has never done before, that is, changing the main plot of the game.

Other “Cyberpunk 2077” Features

Aside from the sub-plots, CD Projekt Red also shared some details about “Cyberpunk 2077.” CDPR’s Global community Lead Marcin Momot confirmed that dual-wielding is not possible in the game. Some fans think that it is kind of strange considering that V, the game’s main protagonist was previously shown dual-wielding. As for the release date of “Cyberpunk 2077,” CDPR earlier announced that following a series of delays, the game would release on November 19, 2020.

“Cyberpunk 2077” would be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
