‘Dance Moms’ Cast Members Meet Kim Kardashian, Attend ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Premiere [PHOTOS]
With the “Dance Moms” cast stationed in Los Angeles ahead of the opening of Abby Lee Miller’s West Coast dance studio, it appears the girls and their moms have been spending their off-time mingling with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. In recent days, several of the stars from the hit Lifetime reality series have been seen rubbing elbows with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Rebel Wilson, and other A-listers.
All of the excitement kicked off on Thursday when Mackenzie Ziegler and Nia Frazier visited Kim Kardashian during one of her "Selfish" book signings. “Freaking out because I met Kim Kardashian,” Mackenzie, 10, posted to Instagram with an image of herself posing with the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star. “Literally crying.”
Nia also posted a photo of herself snapping a selfie with the author. “Thanks @dancemomholly for taking the picture of me taking a picture of us,” the 13 year old wrote. “[Kim Kardashian] is really nice by the way.”
One of the dance moms even got in on the fun. “Really really!!” dancer Kendall Vertes’ mom, Jill, posted to Instagram alongside her personal snap with the E! network reality star.
The “Dance Moms” cast’s exciting week continued with a visit to the “Pitch Perfect 2” premiere in Los Angeles on Friday. Mackenzie attended the star-studded event alongside her sister, Sia music video star Maddie Ziegler, 12. Kendall Vertes, who recently released her first single “Wear ‘Em Out,” also made a cameo on the event’s black carpet.
“Had an amazing time at the ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ premiere! I have never laughed so hard,” Maddie, who is fresh off her latest “Dancing with the Stars” appearance, wrote on Instagram of her experience at the event. She later shared a snap of herself posing with Mackenzie, one of the film’s stars, Rebel Wilson, and her sister, Annachi. “Sisters photo. Love you guys,” she wrote.
It appears Rebel, who will reprise her role of singing Barden Bella "Fat Amy" in the sequel, had an equally fun time with the Ziegler sisters. The 29-year-old actress posted a photo of their meeting on Twitter Saturday.
The ALDC girls are currently in Los Angeles filming the second half of “Dance Moms” Season 5. The forthcoming installment will also tie in the opening of Abby’s ALDC LA studio. While there is no clear return date set for the new “Dance Moms" episodes, fans can catch up with the girls Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime on the Season 5 reunion show “Seeing Stars.”
