‘Dancing With The Stars’ Alum Jana Kramer Pens Sweet Father’s Day Tribute To Ex-Husband Mike Caussin

Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin may no longer be together, but the country singer still gave the latter credit for being a good father to their daughter, Jolie Rae.

On her Instagram account, Kramer posted an adorable photo of Caussin carrying Jolie on his shoulders. The 16-month-old baby and the 33-year-old dad both have huge smiles on their faces. Kramer captioned the snap by saying that she and Caussin may not have had a fairytale-like love story, but Jolie is what’s perfect for the two of them. Kramer concluded her sweet caption by calling Caussin an “amazing father.” She also said that Jolie is very lucky to have him as her dad.

Last year, news broke that Kramer and the NFL player have decided to end their two-year relationship. While speaking with People, Kramer revealed that she broke up with Caussin because he was unfaithful to her. “Mike was the biggest of the betrayals because it was the first time in a relationship where I truly loved the version of me. I didn’t feel I had to prove that I was good enough, I was vulnerable and finally at peace with myself. But I was fooled,” she said.

Kramer and Caussin went their separate ways in August 2016 after the latter entered rehab due to undisclosed reasons. The athlete also spoke with the same publication to acknowledge what he has done to contribute to their failed relationship. “I acknowledge certain that certain actions and behaviors have caused issues in my marriage and I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused Jana. I have and will continue to take the steps needed to change who I am as a person in order to be a better husband and father,” he said.

The “Dancing With the Stars” contestant was previously married to Michael Gambino, whom she said physically abused her. Kramer moved on from Gambino and tied the knot with Jonathan Schaech, but their marriage only lasted for a year. Despite the failed marriages she’s had, Kramer said during last year’s interview that she has not given up on love.
