‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Kym Johnson Dishes On ‘Amazing’ Married Life With Husband Robert Herjavec, Wedding

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Kym Johnson and her husband Robert Herjavec have been enjoying a blissful married life since tying the knot in the summer.

In a new interview with Us Weekly, the 40-year-old dancer dished on her life as a newlywed and shared details about her July wedding with Herjavec. “It’s been amazing. It’s been the most incredible summer of my life,” Johnson told the publication at the 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 11.

After meeting on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 20 in 2015 and teaming up as partners, Johnson and Herjavec, 53, enjoyed a whirlwind romance for year before the two tied the knot in a wedding ceremony held in Los Angeles on July 31. According to the Australia-born beauty, the best part of the wedding ceremony was that it was just about her and the “Shark Tank” star.

“The ceremony was amazing. I was most nervous about that, but that was the most beautiful moment. Even though our family and friends were all there, it was really just about Robert and I at that moment. It was just us two, exchanging our vows, and that was the most special moment,” she gushed.

Herjavec, who attended the awards show with his wife, also shared some details about their life as a married couple, particularly his ideal date night with Johnson. “[We] love [watching] Ray Donovan and just chilling out. I’m obsessed with Ray Donovan right now,” he revealed to Us Weekly, adding jokingly, “Is that an ABC show? I mean, I’m obsessed with ‘Dancing With the Stars!’ What was I thinking?! That’s what we do, and then we watch reruns of ‘Shark Tank’ seasons.”

This is the first marriage for Johnson, but Herjavec was previously married to Diane Plese, and the two have three children together. They finalized their divorce earlier this year after 26 years of marriage.

Meanwhile, Johnson recently showed his support for pal Witney Carson and her celebrity partner Robert Van Winkle, a.k.a. Vanilla Ice, for their stellar performance at the “Dancing With the Stars” Season 23 premiere on Monday, Sept. 12. She shared an Instagram photo of herself with Carson and Winkle, along with the caption: “ How incredible was @witneycarson and @vanillaiceofficial on @dancingabc.”
