‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Peta Murgatroyd Shows Off Baby Bump In Adorable Instagram Video
“Dancing With the Stars” alums Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are excited to welcome their baby boy, who already seems to have inherited his parents’ dancing skills.
On Wednesday, Murgatroyd, who is currently 22 weeks pregnant, posted a new video on Instagram showing off her baby bump. In the clip, the 30-year-old pro dancer’s baby bump appears to be moving as her son kicks from inside the womb. "#BabyChmerkovskiy playing around in Mummy’s tummy. I gave you the first kick :) how many more can you count?" she captioned the video.
After getting engaged in December last year, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy revealed that they were expecting their first child in May. The would-be parents will welcome their baby boy in January.
Meanwhile, Murgatroyd has been sharing photos and videos of her pregnancy on social media since announcing the big news. Just last week, she posted a photo of her and Chmerkovskiy relaxing and spending time together at home. “Father and son time #mybabyfeelingourbaby #tchaikovskytunes,” she captioned the snapshot, which also showed off her baby bump.
Last month, she also shared a video of herself in the middle of an intense workout at the gym. In the caption, she said that she was enjoying exercising and keeping her body fit while pregnant while encouraging others to do the same.
"I'm 20 weeks and although I could sit on the couch watching TV all day, I have to get up and keep moving! To me it's imperative for women to have an active pregnancy,” she wrote on the clip she posted Aug. 20. “It's better for your well-being and it's great for your baby (within the limits your doctor has given you of course). Everyone will have an opinion about this, and that's ok, but until I'm too big that I can't move, I will be doing some sort of exercise each day. Believe me, it's not easy, I'm not used to this body I have at the moment, and I'm heavier than I have ever been."
