‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Peta Murgatroyd Teases Baby’s Gender; Asks Fans To Guess If She’s Having A Boy Or Girl

Only five more months to go! On Tuesday, “Dancing With the Stars” pro Peta Murgatroyd celebrated four months of being pregnant, which means the expecting mother is officially in her second trimester.

Excited to enter this new chapter of pregnancy, Murgatroyd snapped a commemorative photo of herself sporting a black, cutout dress. “4 months!! Yippee!” the mommy-to-be captioned the photo that showed off her fit figure. “Feeling good and still eating pickles….”

Murgatroyd, who announced in July that she and fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy were expecting, encouraged fans to guess whether the couple is having a little boy or girl. From the comments, it appears as though fans of the “Dancing With the Stars” Season 21 winner are torn. But several are speculating that Murgatroyd has already unveiled the gender of her and Chmerkovskiy’s unborn baby.

While the soon-to-be married couple celebrated Murgatroyd’s 30th birthday on Friday, Maks presented his baby mama with a sweet surprise. The birthday treat was a three-tiered, white frosted cake that had the words “I love you both” and “Happy 30th Peta” written in blue icing. The tasty cake also featured an adorable accessory: a pair of blue baby shoes. The blue-hued baby booties caused fans to question if Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy, 36, are expecting a boy.

Months before the couple announced Peta’s pregnancy, the two shared their feelings about starting a family together. “I would like to start [having kids] pretty soon,” Murgatroyd dished to People magazine in December after she and Chmerkovskiy got engaged. “A little boy, and then a little girl.”

Chmerkovskiy, however, revealed he was crossing his fingers to have a daughter first. “I think an older girl would be more responsible,” he revealed to the outlet. “I was an exceptional older brother, but I think that was just a one-in-a-billion thing.”
