Daniel Day Lewis’ Son Gabriel Resembles His Dad At Chanel Show
Daniel Day Lewis’ eldest son, Gabriel Day Lewis, 20, resembled his father as he attended the Vogue Paris Foundation Gala at Grand Palais on Monday. Gabriel, the son of 58-year-old Daniel and actress Isabelle Adjani, 60, is a rising model in the fashion industry with his inherited good looks. He also participated in the Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2015 show on Tuesday, according to Hello.
All eyes were on Gabriel as he stepped out for the gala. The young man showed off the same chiseled jawline and heavy-set eyebrows. He walked for Alfred Dunhill at Paris Men’s Fashion Week and spent the evening rubbing shoulders with a host of famous faces.
Taking to his Instagram, which has 10,000 followers, Gabriel shared snaps of his star-studded night out. He posted a selfie with John Legend, writing: “Can't believe I got to meet the legend himself ;) He’s been such an inspiration to me and my music over the years."
He also shared a group picture of the Chanel team. The picture showed him seated with Karl Lagerfeld, Rita Ora and other models -- with the backdrop of the runway, which was transformed into a grand Chanel casino. Gabriel shared a video of him escorting Hollywood actress Julianne Moore to a roulette and blackjack table in the casino.
He looked handsome in a white shirt and black tuxedo, with a bowtie. His bleached hair was slicked back. His crucifix tattoo on his right hand was seen clearly as he escorted Moore. The resemblance to his father was striking, with bright blue eyes pierced beneath dark, bushy brows and his cheekbones drew down to a distinguished chin.
Gabriel was born during his parents' six-year relationship, 1989 to 1995. Daniel is said to have announced that he was leaving the actress via fax, though he has never spoken about the breakup. The very private actor married current partner Rebecca Miller in 1996.
