‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail Confesses To Chad

She learned she was pregnant with Stefan’s child as a result of the one night they slept together when her alter personality was in control. Now, after being talked out of aborting the baby, Abigail will confess the truth about her current situation to Chad as she attempts to figure out what it truly means for her future on the Tuesday, July 24 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Abigail (Marci Miller), with Gabi’s (Camila Banus) help, conducted a secret paternity test after learning she was pregnant on the NBC soap. She then was devastated when the results came back and declared that her baby was conceived on the night she slept with Stefan (Tyler Christopher) while her “Gabby” personality was in control. She was planning on aborting the pregnancy and was even at the clinic to do so when Stefan then barged in and got her to agree not to end the pregnancy.

However, opting to keep the baby does mean she will have to inform Chad (Billy Flynn) of the news, and she will do so. With the truth finally out in the open, the couple will need to work together to decide what this will mean for their future. However, with Stefan aware of the situation as well, they likely won’t be able to raise the child without allowing him to have any input.

What none of the three knows, however, is that Stefan is not the father—but Chad is. Gabi has used the situation to her advantage as she tries to get revenge on both Abigail and Stefan for working together to get her sent to prison for Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) murder when she was actually innocent of the crime.

Time in prison did not bode well for Gabi. Not only did her time away destroy the relationship she had with her own daughter, Arianna, but the attack that was orchestrated against her in the prison itself was truly life-changing. While she survived the attempt on her life, the surgery required led to an infection which made her most likely infertile, meaning she could never have another child again. As she learned this, Abigail’s test results arrived in Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) office, and when she was left alone, Gabi decided to get some revenge.

She switched the results, keeping the truth about Chad being the baby’s father to herself, and eventually burning them. She then replaced it with a result determining that Stefan was the baby’s father, which is what Abigail saw. Since none of them are questioning Gabi, they all believe this is the truth and will need to figure out their new reality as she sits back and watches everything implode.
