‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ciara Is Confronted About Ben
Since her rescue from the burning cabin, Ciara has been adamant that Ben didn’t try to kill her. Now, as she continues to defend the former serial killer, she will be questioned about her growing connection to him on the Thursday, July 19 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) had been holed up in a cabin in the woods with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) after he saved her when she crashed her motorcycle on the NBC soap. When she refused to leave and go to the hospital, he helped set her broken leg and the two were staying there together. However, things did get dark when Ben ran out of medication and began to hallucinate, though he managed to break back into reality. After he left though, the cabin went on fire and Ciara was trapped inside, nearly dying before Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) came on the scene and managed to rescue her.
Since then, the two cops have been pressuring Ben to admit to setting the fire, though he swears he didn’t and didn’t want to hurt Ciara. After she snuck out of the hospital to see him and confront him herself, he also swore the same to her. He also told Ciara he cared for her, and she has since realized she feels the same way. As a result, she has continued to defend him, much to everyone’s chagrin.
Now, as Hope and Rafe continue to pressure Ben to confess to the fire and attempt on Ciara’s life, she will once again be defending Ben. As a result, she will be questioned about what might be happening between them when Claire (Olivia Keegan) demands answers.
Though it could be out of concern for Ciara’s safety, Claire may also have an ulterior motive for wondering where Ciara’s heart lies. She expressed feelings for Tripp (Lucas Adams) while Ciara was still missing, and he let her down by saying he still wanted a chance to make things work with Ciara. Now, if Claire suspects that she has feelings for the other man, she may use it to her advantage.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
