‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad And Abigail’s Reunion Is Stalled
They were finally ready to reunite after declaring their love for one another again, but the happy reunion Chad and Abigail were hoping for may not go as smoothly as they imagined on the Thursday, Aug. 10 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
Following the tragic accident which saw Abigail (Marci Miller) hit by a car that was actually aiming for Chad (Billy Flynn), her ex-husband realized how much she loved him, and finally admitted he still loved her as well. He also learned while she was unconscious that her marriage to Dario (Jordi Villasousa) was one of convenience, and that she was planning to join Witness Protection with him in order to save Chad, because Dario had an incriminating photo of him which suggested that he had murdered Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). Since she has woken up on the NBC soap, he had admitted out loud that he still loves her and wants her back, and Gabi (Camila Banus) has given him that ability by ending their own romance.

However, things won’t be simple for Chad and Abigail as they prepare to reunite and truly spend the rest of their lives together this time.
The pair’s marriage was one that previously suffered, and they were kept apart by outrageous circumstances. Abigail’s breakdown and disappearance, which also consisted of her presumed death, kept them apart the first time, and her belief that he loved Gabi more then her split them up this time. Once again, something concerning Abigail may rip them apart temporarily, only it won’t be through her own decision.
While Abigail had married Dario as a friend and to help him stay in the U.S., he used the situation to his advantage. He had always hoped she would one day love him and want to be with him the way she has always wanted Chad, but never could succeed at winning her over. Since the accident, he has gone MIA and no one has found him, but he could resurface with a plan that will force Abigail and Chad apart yet again.
When Dario was granted Witness Protection and no prosecution for his crimes, he was given it with the promise that he would turn in a silent partner, someone big who was worth more if they were captured than Dario ever would be. However, he never revealed a name before he disappeared. Now, he may decide to give the FBI the name he promised, only it will be one they never expected.
Dario could, in an effort to make sure Abigail can’t be with Chad, give her name as his accomplice. However, he could also try and find some other way to keep her from reuniting with Chad as well. The hunt is still on for Deimos’ killer, and while Sonny (Freddie Smith) has remained as the prime suspect for some time, Dario could decide to get revenge by naming Abigail. And if she is then arrested for the crime, she and Chad will once again have no chance at being together.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
