‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Nicole And Eric Have An Unsettling Memory

They were both in attendance at the Marton House party and were drugged like everyone else thanks to Deimos putting Halo 2.0 in the drinks. Now, both Nicole and Eric will begin to have some unsettling memories from that hazy night come back to them on the Thursday, July 13 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

While under the influence of the drug, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) found themselves in a position they would never expect on the NBC soap. Despite once being romantically involved and engaged to be married, Nicole has been unable to forgive him for driving drunk and killing Daniel. Yet, the two found themselves each seeing Daniel’s ghost while under the drug’s influence, and when Nicole went to kiss the spirit of the man she loved and lost, she wound up kissing Eric instead. The two shared an intensely passionate embrace as they kissed, though nothing more seemed to happen.

Since that night, they confessed what happened to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and have noted how he isn’t happy about what occurred between them, and have also recalled their both being outside their room and on the hunt for Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), as had most other people at the party. Now though, something new could flash through both their minds, and they could become deeply troubled by what they remember.

Since Deimos was murdered that night, there have been questions about who could have stabbed him in the chest. JJ (Casey Moss) was previously believed to be the prime suspect because he remembered a struggle with Deimos and had blood on his shirt, but he has since been released after Sonny (Freddie Smith) confessed to the crime and was accused of committing it by the party’s caterer. However, Eric or Nicole may flash to what happened when they went after Deimos as well, and they could realize that both men are innocent, because it could have been one of them who committed the crime.

They both had genuine motive after what they went through while captive with Xander (Paul Telfer) in Greece, with Nicole certainly having the most motivation because of that situation, as well as Brady getting shot in Canada as Xander kidnapped her to take her to Greece for Deimos. It wouldn’t be a stretch for either she or Eric to want revenge for what happened to them both. If they do remember something disturbing though, they could be at a loss for how to handle it, since both need to keep their records clean in order to safely remain out of jail or trouble.

However, their memories could be jogged by something far less serious, but still equally disturbing to them as well. They both don’t believe they slept together that night, as when they finally awoke the next morning they both still had their clothes on. But now, if their memories give way to something neither one wanted to admit had happened, they could realize that things went even further than they imagined, and it will only spell more trouble of a different variety for them both.
