‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What Will Belle Decide About Marlena?

They have all been fighting to do whatever they can to save her after she was shot on her wedding day. However, following a discovery among Marlena’s legal and medical documents, Belle will be left with a tough decision to make regarding her mother’s future on the Monday, Sept. 10 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Marlena (Deidre Hall) made it through the surgery to try and save her life after she was shot on the NBC soap, but not long after she woke up, her condition proved to be more worrisome. She has begun to suffer the effects of septic shock and could die. However, while her family has believed that they have a chance to fight for her and get her back alive and well, Belle (Martha Madison) has found something shocking amongst Marlena’s papers—and it’s a major game-changer.

Belle has likely found documents from Marlena that insisted that if she were being assisted by machines for her basic functions (she’s currently on a ventilator which helps her breathe), that she wants to be taken off of the life support. Now, Belle may realize that she has to pull the plug on her mother—who will surely die if that happens.

The news is something that isn’t sitting well with her, and it certainly won’t sit well with her siblings as the news of what their mother requested spreads. Eric (Greg Vaughan) will be the first to learn of the update and will be devastated. However, he may also decide that Belle has to do what their mother wished, and she may agree. Of course, they will face some opposition from their other loved ones—specifically, Belle’s father, John (Drake Hogestyn).

John and Marlena were set to finally be husband and wife again after so many years when everything went to hell at their wedding. Things have only gotten worse, as his son, Paul (Christopher Sean) has also been hospitalized with potentially life-altering injuries following a fall from a window. Now, he will need to likely fight his lawyer daughter, as they go to court to determine what will happen to Marlena next.
