'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: What Will Marlena’s Nightmare Mean For The Wedding?
She has been worried that something will go wrong and destroy her big day with John but decided to stop being superstitious and allow everything to happen as it will. However, after a shocking nightmare, Marlena may once again be worried that her big day will be nothing but a big disaster on the Wednesday, August 22 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) big day is finally here on the NBC soap, and everyone is looking forward to the pair’s happily-ever-after ending. However, Marlena has constantly been worried about things going wrong and felt her worries were legitimized when she learned Sami (Alison Sweeney) wouldn’t be coming to the wedding, John saw her in her dress, and she received a creepy doll from none other than Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). Susan also wound up crashing her bachelorette party, and though she initially gave a Tarot card reading that seemed favorable, she later revealed it was upside down, which meant the marriage was doomed. Marlena had already left for that revelation, however, determined to be faithful her wedding would be fine.
She doesn’t know however that John now has a serious black eye after getting hit in the face with a baseball during his bachelor party, and that won’t be the only thing that gets her worried. Marlena will have a horrific nightmare that involves the wedding, and it could bring a whole new set of worries for her.
What the nightmare predicts could be devastating, but it may also not be as bad as what could really unfold during the special day. Head writer Ron Carlivati teased to Soap Opera Digest earlier this month that Kristen DiMera (also Haiduk) could make an appearance at the couple’s wedding, and that would mean major issues for Marlena since she was the one who pushed the other woman out of a window and to her presumed death.
Sure enough, in a preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above), Kristen appears at the wedding, with a gun in her hands. While Marlena’s dream likely won’t predict that, it could be the warning she needs to take caution on her big day.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
