Is ’Days Of Our Lives’ On Today? NBC Delays Season 54, Episode 180
The drama is literally heating up on “Days of Our Lives,” but the residents of Salem are taking a few days off, meaning fans are going to have to wait until next week to see how these storylines will continue.
According to the NBC programming schedule, “Days of Our Lives” is pre-empted both Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7, for continued coverage of the 2019 French Open. Beginning at 11 a.m., the network is changing its lineup in order to accommodate coverage of the famous annual tennis tournament. This coverage will start beginning at 11 a.m. EDT and will affect the slot where “Days of Our Lives” airs in all markets. Regularly scheduled programming is set to resume beginning at 2 p.m. with “Steve.”
Those interested in watching the French Open can tune in to potentially catch some big matches in the Men’s Doubles Semifinal rounds. Set to compete on Thursday’s schedule are Jérémy Chardy and Fabrice Martin of France versus Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah of Colombia, as well as Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies of Germany and Guido Pella and Diego Schwartzman of Argentina.
Some of the scheduled matches for Friday could see some of the hottest contests as well, the Men’s and Women’s Singles events head into the Semifinal rounds. Those matches will include Roger Federer of Switzerland and Rafael Nadal of Spain on the Men’s side, as well as Ashleigh Barty of Australia and Amanda Anismova of the United States and Johanna Konta of the United Kingdom and Markêta Vondrousová of the Czech Republic on the women’s side.
NBC’s late-morning early afternoon news coverage, as well as new episodes of “Days of Our Lives,” and “Access Live” will resume on Monday, June 10.
For the “DOOL” fans who can’t wait for the show’s return, the drama will certainly be back in full swing quickly enough after Claire’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) huge breakdown, Will’s (Chandler Massey) continually declining health and the continued scheming by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who is masquerading as Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
All of those stories will continue to unfold, with the spoilers for June 1 teasing that Claire’s attempt to commit arson will have some major consequences, while Sonny (Freddie Smith) will take steps to save the man he loves from death.
Spoilers for the episode reveal that “Sonny demands Eve (Kassie DePaiva) surrender Rolf’s (William Utay) diary to save Will’s life.” Meanwhile, “Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) rushes to Smith Island to find the cabin on fire as Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Haley (Thia Megia) are trapped in a dangerous situation.” In addition, “Lani (Sal Stowers) has a realization about her relationship with Baby David.”
The rest of the week will also see stories involving Gabi (Camila Banus), JJ (Casey Moss), Ciara (Victoria Konefal), Stefan (Brandon Barash)l, Abe (James Reynolds), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), Victor (John Aniston), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Rex (Kyle Lowder), Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Xander (Paul Tefler), Ted (Gilles Marini), Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Marlena (Deidre Hall).
