Demi Lovato has certainly transformed over the years!
Since getting her start on the children's TV show "Barney and Friends," the gorgeous Latina has become a fully- fledged popstar and she's also become quite the woman warrior, embodying strength, survival and, of course, style.
In 2008, she starred in the Disney Channel television film "Camp Rock" and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records. She released her debut album, "Don't Forget," in September 2008 which debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. In 2009, Demi landed her own television series, "Sonny with a Chance." Her second album, "Here We Go Again," was released that July and debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. Its title track became her first single to reach the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2010, Demi's personal issues put her career on hiatus but she bounced back the following year with her third album, "Unbroken," which addressed several of her obstacles. Its first single, "Skyscraper", became Lovato's second top ten single as well as first platinum single in the United States.
After serving as a judge and mentor on "The X Factor, " she released her fourth album, "Demi" with the single, "Heart Attack" followed by her fifth album, "Confident" which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, thanks in part to the smash hit "Cool for the Summer."
In addition to her music accomplishments, Demi has dedication as a mentor to teens and young adults with mental health challenges and substance abuse and is an advocate for the LGBT community.
Demi has also become admired for her personal sense of style. Never one to fade into the background, the pop-star is fearless with her fashion, now known for a glam meets rock n' roll vibe. She has rocked big name designers, including Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Norisol Ferrari, on and off the red carpet and on stage. She also has a number of edgy tattoos which are very personal to her.
