The 2022 Guardian Games added a new 750RPM Void SMG to “Destiny 2” called “The Title,” a Hakke model that has a few interesting perks in its pool.

With the incoming nerfs for the Multimach and Shayura’s Wrath as well as the changes to the ammo economy of special weapons in Season 17, this might be the perfect time to grind for a new close-quarters weapon, and The Title might be a fitting contender for the next season’s meta.

Here are a few perk rolls to look out for when grinding for this new weapon.

Unique Trait: Classy Contender

This SMG is the first weapon in the game to come with the Classy Contender trait, which grants extra class ability every time an enemy is defeated. Classy Contender can fit in literally any build, essentially functioning like Wellspring but for class energy only.

Best PvP Perk Rolls

The incoming range reduction for the Multimach and Shayura’s Wrath pits The Title in roughly the same category as them. With a base zoom level of 15 and access to barrel and fan-favorite ammo perks, The Title already seems like a promising PvP weapon.

  • Max range dueling roll:
    • Full Bore
    • High-Caliber Rounds
    • Dynamic Sway Reduction
    • Moving Target/One For All

With a Range masterwork, this roll can reach up to 20.6m High-Caliber Rounds. Moving Target will help players win more duels, while Dynamic Sway Reduction can help mitigate Full Bore’s Stability penalty.

Best PvE Perk Rolls

Perhaps the best part about this SMG is that it’s a Void weapon, which means it will synergize well with Volatile Rounds builds. It may not be as effective as the Funnelweb, but it can be a nice alternative.

    • Armor-Piercing Rounds
    • Stats For All
    • One For All

The third- and fourth-column perks synergize very well with each other, and players will never run out of things to shoot in PvE. Spray the SMG in a group of enemies to immediately activate both perks.

Classy Contender is great when paired with an Elemental Well build, especially ones that rely on Reaping Wellmaker.
