‘Destiny: Rise Of Iron’ Update Improves Max Light Level, Introduces Wrath Of The Machine's Heroic Mode
“Destiny: Rise of Iron” reportedly has a new update that improves the max Light level. The 2.4.1 update which is going live starting this Tuesday is also said to come with more beneficial changes.
GearNuke has learned that developer Bungie did some changes to some features of “Destiny: Rise of Iron” after receiving complaints from players about certain issues they encountered in the game. One of these changes is the increase in the max Light level to 400. The max Light level was previously the main concern raised by the gaming community, so it’s about time that Bungie delivers what it promised players.
The new update is also said to increase the average Light level players have. The increment is possible through the rewards players receive. In addition, the update reportedly introduces Ghost and Artifact drop — items that are new to Archon’s Forge completion rewards, but are quite useful since they drop at up to 400 Light.
Bungie also shed light on what certain enhancements were made to ensure that Wrath of the Machine’s Heroic mode flows seamlessly and smoothly. The developer even released tips on how to troubleshoot when players encounter certain issues. For example, for the Error Code Sheep, Bungie says all players should close the game and install the latest update, according to Express.
"Players may encounter the SHEEP error code when they attempt to join a Fireteam in which any member has not updated to the latest version of Destiny," Bungie wrote in a blog post. "To resolve this issue, please have all players close Destiny and install the latest update."
Since Bungie knows that everyone is excited for the previously teased Wrath of the Machine’s Heroic Mode, it specified what time fans should expect the update to arrive. "To ensure that all World-First-hopeful Fireteams have time to download the update, Heroic Mode for Wrath of the Machine will begin at 2PM Pacific on Tuesday, October 18," Bungie stated.
Patch notes for “Destiny: Rise of Iron” update 2.4.1 have yet to be released, but Bungie claims that players should not expect any downtime. Finally, the developer said that fans should expect “more changes” to come to the game.
