‘Devious Maids’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Leaked Online; What Will Happen In ‘The Dark At The Top Of The Stairs’?
If you were expecting a drama-filled Season 2 premiere of “Devious Maids,” boy were you in luck! “An Ideal Husband” was chock-full of jaw-dropping moments from Ethan’s (the Delatours' new pool boy) wet and wild debut to Carmen and Odessa’s harsh falling-out. And once the Lifetime series ended its first episode of the second season, we were itching to find out what could possibly happen when episode 2 airs next week.
Unfortunately, we must wait six more days until “The Dark at the Top of the Stairs” debut. So, to help with your “Devious Maids” craving, we’re going to give you something sweet — and definitely a little sour — to chew on.
The episode 2 synopsis insists that Carmen will be threatened by someone from Alejandro’s past. Hmm, we have a few theories on that:
1. Could that “someone” from Alejandro’s past be a former love who might expose Carmen to be just a beard out of spite?
2. Or, perhaps that “someone” might just sweetly persuade Alejandro to be himself, which ultimately ruins Carmen’s current lavish lifestyle.
The synopsis also revealed that Zoila will intervene with Valentina’s job while ignoring problems with her husband during episode 2. During the Season 2 premiere of “Devious Maids,” we learned that Valentina took on a new job with the Powells because of her ill feelings toward Zoila. But could Valentina endure the same fate as Flora by working for the family who could be responsible for the maid’s demise? We don’t know, but Zoila doesn’t seem like she wants to risk the chance and find out.
A spoiler revealed by TV Line teases that unlike Flora, Valentina will have a better relationship with Adrian and that her “innocence” will remain intact. Does that mean fans shouldn’t expect another juicy affair?
Speaking of affairs, Rosie will start a new job in episode 2, while Marisol will attempt to make peace with Opal. Peri, however, will threaten Spence in the upcoming episode, which will air Sunday. In need of some more “Devious Maids” scoop? According to Executive Producer Sabrina Wind, fans can expect some more fake-baby drama when the matter “comes to a head” in episode 2.
