Did Anyone Win Powerball? Oct. 5 Winning Numbers And Saturday's New Jackpot

There was no grand prize winner following Wednesday night's Powerball drawing. The jackpot was worth an estimated $354.7 million, with a cash value of $186.3 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn for Oct. 5 were 26, 30, 33, 37, and 62. The Powerball pull was 6, and the Power Play was 2X.

Since the latest jackpot went unclaimed, Saturday night's jackpot will climb to an estimated $378 million with a cash payout of $198.7 million.

There has not been a grand-prize winner since early August when a player in Pennsylvania won the $206.9 million jackpot.

Along with no grand prize lottery winner following Wednesday night's drawing, none of the players were lucky enough to become instant millionaires.

If a player would have hit the Match 5, they would have won $1 million. However, if the ticket holder hit the Match 5 with the 2X Power Play purchase, they would have won $2 million.

Several other players walked away with smaller monetary prizes. Fourteen players matched four white-ball numbers and the red Powerball, putting their winnings for the night at $50,000 apiece.

Meanwhile, three players hit the Match 4 and the red Powerball, winning $100,000 each thanks to a Power Play purchase.

The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $200. A total of 518,951 players took home prizes from the Saturday jackpot.

The latest drawing comes as a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket is set to expire on Oct. 17 in Indiana if it's not claimed. The ticket was purchased for the April 18 drawing at the Pilot Flying J Travel Center in Lake Station.

The winning numbers for the April 18 drawing were 8, 33, 55, 59, and 62, with a Powerball pull of 18.

Jackpot winners need to match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
