Did Kendall Jenner Make A$AP Rocky Romance Instagram Official At Met Gala 2017?

Although the Met Gala is typically about fashion and art, Kendall Jenner seemingly turned the big event into a date night for herself and rumored boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

On Monday, during the 2017 gala, the couple appeared to make their romance official by showing plenty of PDA and appearing in several Instagram photos and video together. Although the two have been rumored to be dating since last summer, the Met Gala marks the first time that the two have acted like a couple in public.

The model’s sister, Kylie Jenner, presented the first sign that the two were a couple by breaking the Met Gala no selfie rule and taking a star-studded selfie in the bathroom. In the photo, Kendall posed in front of A$AP Rocky with her back facing the mirror and her front facing her beau.

The rapper wrapped his arm around the model’s waist and the two smiled for the camera. Other celebrities that were in the photo included Kim Kardashian West, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Frank Ocean, Paris Jackson, Brie Larson, Lily Aldridge and more.

Kim also shared the bathroom selfie on Snapchat from a different angle which shows Kendall leaning in towards the rapper as he lays his head on hers.

Several photos of the selfie surfaced from others in the bathroom from different angles with the rumored couple looking ecstatic to be around each other while still enjoying their fun night out.

Vogue also posted a video of Kendall, A$AP Rocky, Kylie and Kim using the magazine’s photo booth. In the video, the three famous sisters can be seen leaning against the wall enjoying the music. The group begins to move around and is joined by the rapper, who gets in on the fun.

The couple was later spotted getting cozy away from the crowd. The rapper, who was dressed in a Calvin Klein suit, could not help but get close to Kendall, who was wearing a creation from the La Perla Haute Couture Collection, designed by Creative Director Julia Haart.

The couture dress was created from 85,000 hand painted and placed crystals. The La Perla gown took over 160 hours to create and was sent off to five cities and handled by 26 craftsmen.

Each hand painted crystal is placed en dégradé, creating a unique flow of color that goes from Diamond into Jet Hematite and finishes off in Jet Black.

“I was inspired by Rei Kawakubo’s concept of ‘un-fabric’ and her ability to create movement out of seemingly immobile materials. So, I created my own ‘un-fabric’ by affixing stones to a single thread, creating a beautiful and liquid suspension that mirrored the qualities of a fine silk,” Haart said in a press release about the stunning design.

In another photo that appeared on Kim’s Snapchat, Kylie can be seen squatting looking as if she is trying to capture a picture of the couple who are facing one another as the rapper grabs hold of Kendall’s rear end.

Considering Kendall and A$Ap Rocky’s most recent public display of affection, it seems like this is just the beginning of their romantic date nights.
