The Marvel Universe is expanding at California’s Disneyland. The Avengers Campus officially has an opening date, and previews have revealed more about the new section of the California Adventure Park in Anaheim.

Release Date: Those Stark Industries fences will be opened up on Saturday, July 18. That day will be the first time the public gets to explore Avengers Campus.

Rides: “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!” replaced the Tower of Terror in 2017, and more Marvel rides will join it. There will be “WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure,” which will feature Tom Holland in some capacity. Entertainment Weekly notes that there are already plans for a Wakanda-set ride for “Black Panther” fans, but that’s still off in the future.

Attractions: Okoye and the Dora Milaje will hold Wakandan training sessions, and Doctor Strange will help visitors channel the mystic arts in an ancient Sanctum (an outdoor area that will light up at night). Spider-Man will fly overhead, and there will be a rooftop battle with Taskmaster fighting Black Widow, Black Panther and/or Captain America.

Meet and Greets: Expect to line up for photos with the most popular MCU characters. Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Black Panther, Okoye and the Dora Milaje, Ant-Man, Wasp, Doctor Strange, Star-Lord, Groot, Gamora, Thor, and Loki are among the names touted. The Avengers Campus takes place in a parallel universe, so even some of the dead Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes can show up in Disneyland.

Food: Disneyland is known for creative menus, and that continues on the Avengers Campus, Marvel reports.

  • Ant-Man fans will want to eat at the PYM Test Kitchen. The laboratory is a quick-service restaurant that specializes in oversized foods, like a Bavarian pretzel or a 2-foot long panini, and fun-sized foods, such as snack molecules or mini chicken sandwiches for kids. The lab mixes sizes with the Impossible Spoonful, featuring tiny pasta pieces surrounding a giant plant-based meatball in a huge spoon.
  • Expect plenty of fun alcoholic drinks too. In addition to cocktails like Particle Fizz and Molecular Meltdown, ComicBook.com reports that there will be “magical” re-filling beer, inspired by “Thor: Ragnarok.”
  • Shawarma Palace, a reference to 2012’s “The Avengers,” will feature New York’s Tastiest, a classic shawarma-spiced chicken dish, as well as the vegetarian Impossible Victory Falafel.
  • Terran Treats will be inspired by The Collector. Infinity Stone-colored churro spirals and cheesecake mousse-filled cream puffs will be available for guests with a sweet tooth.

Merch: Of course, there will be plenty of new Marvel merchandise at the Avengers Campus located in the Campus Supply Pod. There will be “performance fleece hoodies and tees, headwear, drinkware and other Super Hero supplies,” Disney notes. Meanwhile, the Spider-Man attraction will feature WEB Suppliers, which will sell plenty of Spidey merch like interactive Spider-Bots, special Funko Pop! vinyl figurines, web-shooters and interactive goggles.

Easter Eggs: Like anything made by Marvel, expect plenty of nods to other projects. Marvel Studios has even given Imagineers a sneak peek so they can start laying in Easter eggs for Disney+ series like “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and “Wandavision.”
