Donald Trump has been warned about his moderate risk of having a heart attack.
The President of the United States has sparked several health concerns lately from his alleged leg brace to dementia. In 2018, Dr. Sanjay Gupta issued a health warning to the POTUS about a potential heart condition.
Gupta wrote for CNN Health that Trump has a common form of heart disease but it is relatively easy to address if he does his part. The medical professional suggested that Trump should increase his dose of cholesterol lowering medication and change his lifestyle because “without those changes, the President has moderate risk of having a heart attack in the next three to five years.”
Trump undergoes basic lab measurements and physical exam. White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson also disclosed that he had coronary calcium scan as part of his routine and the POTUS’ official medical records showed that his coronary calcium score was 133 and anything over 100 indicates that a plaque is present and the patient has a heart disease.
“His score is 133 and he is 71 years of age, which puts him in the 46 percentile,” said cardiologist Dr. Rachel Bond of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
“What does this indicate? Yes, he certainly has coronary artery disease because calcium is present. But this is also common for someone his gender, race and age. When I compare him to other males who are 71 and white, only 46 [percent] of others have a better score than him.”
Last week, Trump was caught on camera as he deplaned Air Force One. Many noticed that he had trouble balancing, triggering the online users to speculate that he has neurological problems.
“Looks like drop foot to me. I would know since I have same thing. I drag my right leg. I have MS and all I can say is he has SOME TYPE OF NEUROLOGICAL condition,” @GottaBeZen wrote on Twitter.
Trump also sparked dementia rumors when he forgot to mention his wife Melania and daughter with Marla Maples, Tiffany, when he spoke about his “whole family” in his victory speech. Several also reacted because Trump kept on mentioning his daughter Ivanka instead of his spouse, prompting some to believe that the first daughter is more important to him than the first lady.
