Donald Trump Receives Standing Ovation After Praising Wife Melania, POTUS Reveals Endearment For FLOTUS

Donald Trump receives a standing ovation after complimenting his wife First Lady Melania Trump.

Aarono Rupar shared a clip of Trump giving a speech during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2020 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland. He pointed out how the POTUS’ speech was distracted because he was bashing Joe Biden, complimenting his wife and then bashing the media.

In the clip, when Trump mentions Melania and compliments her for doing a great job, the crowd claps their hands and stands from their seats. They cheer and say, “Great job.”

“She’s doing a great job, very popular, great style, love our country,” Trump says in the video.

Trump also recognizes the presence of Melania’s father in the crowd and even asks where Viktor Knavs was while saying, “Her father is here today. Where is Viktor?”

Trump didn’t stop looking for his father-in-law until he found him. The POTUS then points at him and introduces Viktor to the crowd. “Great guy,” Trump says of Melania’s dad.

In the same clip, Trump shares how he calls his wife Melania. The POTUS confessed that he likes calling Melania “first lady.” The FLOTUS told him to just call her Melania, but he prefers “first lady.” Trump continues with a joke, saying that he knows calling Melania as such will be another headline.

Melania and Trump’s marriage has been questioned by many because for several times now the POTUS was seen disregarding his wife. For instance, he was seen leaving Melania on the tarmac all alone multiple times.

A clip shared on Twitter shows Trump running from the presidential car straight to the Air Force One leaving Melania who strides behind him as he seeks shelter from the freezing cold weather. The FLOTUS is visibly cold, too, because she runs after her husband and ascends the aircraft.

In another sighting, the Trumps were spotted arriving in Florida to spend the weekend at Mar-a-Lago. Many were disappointed with the POTUS when he descended the airstair and walked ahead of his wife and son without looking back at them on the tarmac. When Trump reached the ground, he didn’t stop to wait for his family, he just went on and continued walking and greeted the crowd while Melania and Barron followed him.

Despite the said sightings, Trump and Melania are confident in their relationship. According to them, they have a “marriage of equals.”
