Donald Trump sparked dementia rumors again after forgetting to mention wife Melania Trump and daughter Tiffany in his “whole family” statement.
On Tuesday, the president delivered his third State of the Union address. He was joined by his wife Melania and children Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany.
In his speech, Trump apologized to his family for having them go through a “phony, rotten deal” from evil people. Trump then mentioned Ivanka and his sons’ presence. He also recognized his son with Melania by saying that Barron was included in his family. However, the POTUS made no mention of his wife Melania and daughter with Marla Maples, Tiffany, who were also present. This prompted some netizens to react.
“Trump namechecks Ivanka –– but not Melania –– and, as an afterthought, includes Barron as part of his ‘whole family,’” @dcpoll wrote on Twitter.
“Yeah, that was weird. No mention of his wife Melania, the son they had together gets mentioned as an afterthought and Tiffany goes unmentioned. Really weird,” @BanksClan agreed.
“Tiffany not part of the family again,” @ButterMLKe added.
“Melania isn't a family member to him, she's like a lamp or an ottoman,” @StPeterGateKeep wrote.
Meanwhile, another speculated that Trump forgetting to mention the other members of the family is a sign of dementia.
“Aye - that forgetting members of one’s family thing is so totally normal... not! It is a symptom of quite advanced memory loss and dementia. He didn’t mention his other daughter Tiffany either.. He seldom does,” @DB4WorldJustice commented.
The same online user admitted that he was not a doctor but he could recognize the signs of dementia. “Are you a doctor? Can you say with honest candour that mister Trump is not showing symptoms of dementia? Many doctors have said he is,” the online user added.
In related news, a group of mental health professionals evaluated Trump’s mental health and according to them, the POTUS is “psychologically and mentally both dangerous and incapacitated.”
“We urge Congress to consult with us for a profile, if not evaluation, and to take seriously the mental health aspects that are at play in this mentally impaired president,” the World Mental Health Coalition said in a statement obtained by The Independent.
