President Donald Trump Thanks Wife Melania During SOTU For FLOTUS’ Be Best Initiative

Donald Trump thanked wife Melania for her Be Best initiative.

On Tuesday, the president of the United States delivered his State of the Union address. During the event, the POTUS requested Melania to give Rush Limbaugh a Medal of Freedom and the latter complied while Limbaugh tried to contain his shock. Many considered that moment “moving.”

Trump also praised and thanked the FLOTUS for her efforts in helping the children and schools through her Be Best campaign. Trump was convinced that the project helped kids to have a safe environment.

“Every young person should have a safe and secure environment in which to learn and grow,” Trump said.

“For this reason, our magnificent First Lady has launched the ‘Be Best’ initiative – to advance a safe, healthy, supportive, and drug-free life for the next generation, online, in school, and in our communities. Thank you, Melania, for your extraordinary love and profound care for America’s children.”

It was reportedly the first time Trump praised Melania’s Be Best campaign during a major speech. His effort to recognize Melania didn’t go unnoticed to fans who have been following the first couple.

However, not everyone agreed with Trump when it comes to Melania’s Be Best campaign. In fact, several criticized the FLOTUS’ initiative because for them it isn’t effective.

Melania’s Be Best is an advocate of anti-cyberbullying. However, the FLOTUS kept quiet when Trump attacked Greta Thumberg on Twitter. Several called her attention to defend the 16-year-old activist from her husband, but the FLOTUS did not do anything which left many disappointed.

In related news, there are rumors that Melania and Barron are not living with Trump. The first lady and her son are allegedly with the FLOTUS’ parents in Florida.
