Draya Michele-Orlando Scandrick Update: Is ‘Basketball Wives LA’ Star Secretly Engaged?

“Basketball Wives LA” star Draya Michele and possible fiancé Orlando Scandrick certainly have a whirlwind relationship. The Dallas Cowboys star shocked “BBWLA” fans when he ended their engagement last month, but it seems Draya has been able to woo her man back.

“We’re in a good place,” she teased about the status of her relationship during an interview with “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” radio show on KRRL-FM Thursday. “It was an off thing, so it’s trying to get back on and we’re just playing it day by day to see.” The reality star-turned-businesswoman added she still has her “expensive” engagement ring, but she didn't say if the nuptials were still on.

Even though Scandrick released two statements about their “failed” engagement last month, Draya remained silent. She said it was because she was humiliated: “I was appalled that my private life was out there and I didn’t put it out there because I’m cool with what I do. Like if I wanted to tell y’all that I was having arguments in my house, I would’ve told y’all.”

In the past, the Mint Swim fashion designer said she was done with the VH1 reality show, but explained why she came back -- aside from the money. “It can have its good times, it can be a little fun sometimes,” Draya said. “I think I used it for what it was, it was a stepping stone and it helped me form my brands.”

The reality star added that she will not return to “BBWLA” for another season and doesn’t watch the episodes because she doesn’t want to “upset” herself. In a different interview with Yahoo, Draya said she makes her social media accounts private on the weekend because she doesn’t want to read what other people have to say and she doesn’t want her brand associated with the show.
